Our Safety Program

Mission Statement

At Bounce and Beyond Texas, we are dedicated to providing safe, high-quality party equipment for all events. We prioritize customer safety by ensuring that all rented equipment is in excellent condition and that customers are fully informed about safe use practices.

General Safety Guidelines

1. Pre-Event Setup

  •  All equipment will be inspected thoroughly before delivery to ensure it is in safe working condition.
  • Customers will be provided with detailed instructions on where to place each item to ensure safety. Areas should be level, free from obstacles, and clear of overhead hazards (e.g., tree branches, power lines).
  • Inflatables must be set up on a stable, soft surface (e.g., grass, sand) to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall.

2. Customer Education (Before Delivery)

  • Customers will receive written and digital instructions detailing how to set up and use each piece of equipment safely.
  • Clear guidelines on maximum weight capacity, proper entry and exit procedures, and safety features will be shared.
  • Specific instructions for setting up inflatables, including proper staking/anchoring, will be provided to prevent movement.

3. Customer Education (Upon Delivery)

  •  Our team will deliver and set up equipment, but will not stay on-site. We will, however, review all safety instructions with the customer upon delivery, ensuring they understand how to operate the equipment safely.
  • A safety briefing will be conducted, including information on the number of people allowed to use the equipment at a time, the importance of adult supervision, and proper usage limits.

4. Supervision and Monitoring

  • A responsible adult (18 years or older) must supervise all rented equipment at all times.
  • Children using inflatable equipment should be of similar size to ensure safe play and minimize the risk of injury.
  • Bounce houses and inflatables should not be used if there is insufficient supervision.

5. Weather-Related Safety

  • Equipment should not be used during inclement weather, including high winds, rain, or thunderstorms. Customers are responsible for deflating and securing equipment during weather emergencies.
  • Inflatables should be deflated if winds exceed 15 mph to prevent tipping or movement.
  • If any weather-related concerns arise, customers must immediately cease use and secure all equipment.

6.  Emergency Procedures

  • Clear instructions for safely evacuating the inflatable and deflating equipment in case of emergency will be provided to customers.
  • Customers should ensure access to a first aid kit and be aware of emergency services' contact details during events.

Customer Responsibility

1. Post-Setup Monitoring

  • While Bounce and Beyond Texas staff will set up all equipment upon delivery, the customer is responsible for supervising the equipment for the duration of the rental period.
  • A responsible adult (18 years or older) must monitor all equipment while in use to ensure safety guidelines are followed.

2. Safe Usage Enforcement

  • The customer must ensure that all users follow the safety guidelines provided at the time of delivery, including:
    • Limiting the number of users at one time.
    • Allowing only similarly sized children to use inflatables together.
    • Prohibiting roughhousing, flips, somersaults, or climbing on the walls of inflatables.
  • Customers are also responsible for keeping users away from the blower, power cables, and anchoring systems.

3. Weather Monitoring and Equipment Care

  • In the event of inclement weather (e.g., high winds, rain, lightning), the customer must stop use immediately and deflate or unplug equipment if instructed to do so in the safety materials.
  • The customer must ensure that all equipment is protected from damage during the rental period and must not relocate or attempt to repair any item.
  • Customers are responsible for keeping equipment clean and ensuring no food, drinks, sharp objects, or pets come into contact with inflatables.

4. Post-Rental Responsibility

  • At the end of the event, customers should ensure the area is clear of all personal items before staff return for pickup.
  • If any issues or damage occur during the event, customers must report them immediately upon pickup or via the contact method provided.

Maintenance and Inspection

1. Pre-Rental Inspection

  • Each piece of equipment will be inspected before delivery to ensure that it is in safe and working order.
  • A checklist will be completed for each item after set-up to ensure all safety features are functional.

2. Post-Rental Inspection

  • Equipment will be checked upon return to ensure it is in safe condition for future rentals. Any damaged or malfunctioning items will be immediately removed from service and repaired or replaced.

Liability Waiver

Customers are required to sign a liability waiver before their rental. This waiver confirms they understand the risks associated with using party rental equipment and agree to follow all safety instructions.

Conclusion

Bounce and Beyond Texas is committed to providing fun, safe, and reliable party equipment. By delivering high-quality products, educating customers, and maintaining rigorous safety standards, we ensure that all events are as safe as they are enjoyable.
